in Höfn, Hornafjörður, south east Iceland
Many
artists took part in an exhibition that was all over the town

Title:
Velkomin / Welcome
Site: A grass field across the road from the camping site /
tourist information center / where the buses stop. Entering the town
of Höfn.
Material
and realisation:
• Cut grass in an area with a lawnmover
• Made a drawing by making holes with a golfhole cutter, turning
the material upside down and putting it back into the hole. 1629 holes.
•
Sadly I could not wait for the rain and the grass to grow a little
to get better pictures.
Velkomin
/ Welcome is dedicated to my daughter Vala Guðlaug
Three
weeks after the opening I came flying back to Iceland, over Höfn,
with my little daughter from India.
