Poetry smuggling and versekilling

Andri Magnason's first book of poetry gained quite a lot of attention, it was printed three times. Poems from the book have been published in anthologies in Germany, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Holland and Spain. These are poems about various things, the poems were thought to be understandable and humorous and at least one love poem from the book was used by a young man to gain the love of a young woman. They now have two boys. Who said poetry did not work anymore?
