The Blue Planet - Theatre Music
The Story of the Blue Planet came out in in december 1999, earlier that year the play about the Wild Children on the Blue Planet had recieved a new play award by The National Theater of Iceland. The opening was on he main stage in 2001, big production, large cast with smoke and revolving stage but best of all, the music was made by múm. The cd was published and is available on smekkleysa.net. All the income goes to charity. A project in India and to a project run by the Icelandic Red Cross in Palestine for children at war. Pictures are here on The Red Cross website but the text is in Icelandic. The Blue Planet is on stage in Toronto, this time with music made by John Gowsky. The Story of the Blue Planet has now been published in 12 languages.

Voices is a CD with original recordings of Icelandic folk music. The recordings were collected around Iceland in the homes of farmers, grandmothers and fishermen that still lived in the old tradition or could remember some of the old songs that had been sung in Iceland for generations. The CD contains chanting of rimur, hymns, ballads and nursery rhimes.
