Sometimes it is like they intend to go right over us

Meat market at Sarikei, we bought wonderful meat there

We had no problem finding fresh fruit and vegetables in Sarikei. Actually we pretty much found everything we wanted there.

We saw people exercising on two of those as we went up river

Visitors aboard Lady Ann

We loved the Long house, amazingly roomy and nice there

Laying down welcoming mats for us

The Iban tribe sure is beautiful people.

We were offered home made rice wine, it was really, really good.

People of all ages made us welcome.

The children are ever so happy and nice

Namm, yes please!

Relaxed and nice evening

Shame we could not stop longer and get better acquainted.

Endless wood floating on the river. We got a fair sized palm up with our anchor among other things.

This is were we brought our dinghies when we visited the Long houses

This is the way up to the Long houses

Our second visit to the Long hoses

A hat being born and a hat being used.

Busy public area in the Long house.

Different stair there

Jabu kindly took us for a walk where he introduced us to wildlife around and showed us the rest of the village too.

Not quite Broadway.

Jabu showing us a nice Grasshopper.

What a luxury to be able to jump in and fool around in the warm river.

This one was sunbathing as we sailed by

We saw so many things like that float on the river.

SDF meeting one of so many barges on the river.

They wanted us to come for a visit.

It was darned scary as these three passed us on a narrow corner and we got two coming towards us at the same time. We were pretty close to the river edge in the end.
