Welcome to Gallerí Heimalist.
Located in the heart of town on Heimaey, Westmann Islands, a small group of islands off the south coast of Iceland Established in 1990, it is one of the oldest co-operative arts and crafts galleries in Iceland and still running. We have a variety of artists, knitters and other craftsmen paying particular attention to the unique beauty and nature of the Westmann islands and to the puffins, of which we have the most populated colony in the world. |
