Ascending into Glory
The divine power,
working the eternal will,
brought the earthly life
of the Son of God’s manhood
to an end
in a majestic expression
of the quietude of heavenly glory:
surrounded by disciples
stabilising in their faith.
Obedient even here,
with human foresight
within divine power,
he had called with all force
for its fulfilment
by an entry into glory.
The human mind explicit for every step;
the divine mind per modum unius.
The potency in his human nature was
fully obedient, fully creative:
kept raised by
ever present divinity
to be fully what it was.
That single self:
flash-brooding, timeless:
an All that is One.
That other:
heaven-bent for glory;
intensity of thought to timelessness,
containing diversity not only in thought
but in unrejenting manhood
for ever
as All-One.
The greater?
As sich selbst erniedrigt,
or rising-receiving
the glory which inhabits the one One,
Himself as Himself,
Himself as the Church:
undiminished?
Quale, not quod and quantum.
Separate, not from matter
but all cosmos.
Energy different from mass = energy: its cause!
At the margin, tiny traces of continuity.
Two signs at the overlap.
As all-nature received:
submicroscopic –
the strings have ten dimensions
encoiled at their point of appearance-disappearance.
As graced and received,
connatural to au-delà:

FRENCH VERSION
La puissance divine,
qui fait fonctionner la volonté éternelle,
a amené à sa fin
la vie terrestre
de la nature humaine du Fils de Dieu,
dans une expression majestueuse
de la quiétude de la gloire céleste:

stabilisant dans leur foi.

contenant la diversité pas seulement dans la pensée
mais dans cette virilité jamais abondonnée
comme Tout-Un.
Et le plus grand?
Comme sich selbst erniedrigt ;
ou soulèvant-recevant
la gloire qui habite l'un Un,
Lui-même comme Lui-même,
Lui-même comme l'Église:
pas diminué?
Quale, ne pas quod et quantum.
Séparé, pas de matière
