La Prieure : Sœur Anne-Sophie, par la baptême tu es déjà morte au péché et consacrée à Dieu : veux-tu, par la profession solennelle, être unie plus étroitement au Christ et à l’Eglise ?
La Professe : Oui, je le veux et le désire, avec la grâce de Dieu.
La Prieure : Veux-tu grandir dans l’amour de Dieu et du prochain, être vraiment membre du Christ, en te donnant totalement à gagner des âmes, comme le Seigneur Jésus, Sauveur de tous les hommes, s’offrit lui-même tout entier pour notre salut ?
Le Professe : Oui, je le veux et je le désire, avec la grâce de Dieu.
La Prieure : Veux-tu, par la profession solennelle, être incorporée (pour toujours) à notre Ordre, et, persévérant dans la prière avec Marie, Mère de Jésus, aspirer ardemment à la plénitude de l’Esprit Saint, pour annoncer de manière prophétique la béatitude du Christ et contribuer, par une mystérieuse fécondité, au développement du peuple de Dieu, en te consacrant totalement à Dieu et en te donnant à l’Eglise universelle d’une manière nouvelle ?
La Professe : Oui, je le veux et le désire, avec la grâce de Dieu.
La Prieure : Que le Seigneur achève en toi ce qu’il a commencé.

Moi, sœur Anne-Sophie, je fais profession et promets à Dieu, à la Vierge Marie, au bienheureux Dominique, au Maître de l’Ordre des Prêcheurs et à toi, sœur Monique, Prieure de ce monastère Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, et a celles qui te succéderont, selon la Règle de saint Augustin et les Institutions des moniales de l’Ordre des Prêcheurs, que je serai obéissante à toi et à mes autre Prieures jusqu'à la mort.
Prière consécratoire (par l’Archevêque) :
Dieu de bonté, par ta Parole, Tu visites la terre et Tu fais des merveilles dans le cœur des pauvres.
Tu l’as visité aux jours d’Abraham et de Sarah, et tu as donné naissance à un peuple aussi nombreux que les étoiles du ciel.
Tu as visité ton peuple au jour de Moïse et tu l’as fait monter d’Égypte pour lui donner une terre ruisselante de lait et de miel.
Tu as parlé inlassablement par les Prophètes.
En ces jours qui sont les derniers, tu as envoyé Jean le Précurseur et dans ta miséricorde, Tu t’es penché sur Marie, ton humble servante. L’Esprit Saint l’ayant couverte de son ombre, elle mit au monde le Sauveur, la Parole faite chair, Jésus-Christ.
Venu nous manifester ton Amour, Il est passé sur notre terre en faisant le bien.
Rempli de l’Esprit Saint, Il a porté la Bonne Nouvelle aux pauvres, la délivrance aux captifs et aux aveugles la lumière.
A l’heure de sa Passion, Il a étendu les mains sur la Croix, afin que soit brisée la mort et manifestée la Résurrection. Dans ce mystère de sa pâque Il a donné la vie aux hommes et a fait naître l’Église dans la force de l’Esprit.
Par ce même Esprit, Tu ne cesses d’appeler un grand nombre d’hommes et de femmes à suivre le Christ en témoignant de son Amour unique.
Rassemblées en ton Nom par ta Parole vivante, les moniales de l’Ordre des Prêcheurs cherchent à annoncer par toute leur vie la Bonne Nouvelle de cet Amour. Elles participent ainsi avec leurs frères au service de la Parole.

Que l’Esprit qui t’a marquée de son sceau au jour de ton baptême garde en toi vivante et libre la Parole et t’aide à entrer dans les sentiments du Christ Jésus.

Que l’Esprit qui a poussée Jésus au désert te conduise toi aussi, afin que tu cherches assidûment la Face de Dieu et, pour que tous les hommes soient sauvés, tu interpelles sans cesse le Dieu de notre salut.

Prioress: Sister Anne- Sophie. By baptism you are already dead to sin and consecrated to God: do you wish, by solemn profession, to be united more closely to Christ and the Church?
Sister: Yes, I wish and desire it by the grace of God.
Prioress: Do you wish to grow in the love of God and your neighbour, to be truly a member of Christ, in giving yourself totally to gain souls, just as the Lord Jesus, the Saviour of all men, offered himself entirely for our salvation?
Sister: Yes, I wish and desire it by the grace of God.
Prioress: Do you wish, by religious profession, to be incorporated (for ever) in our Order, and, persevering in prayer with Mary the Mother of God, to aspire ardently for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, in order to announce in a prophetic manner the beatitude of Christ, and to contribute, by a mysterious fecundity, to the development of the people of God, in consecrating yourself totally to God and in giving yourself to the universal Church in a new manner?

I, Sister Anne-Sophie, make profession and promise to God, to the Virgin Mary, to Blessed Dominic, to the Master of the Order and to you, Sister Monica, Prioress of this monastery of Our Lady of the Assumption, and to those who will succeed you, according to the Rule of Saint Augustine and the Institutions of the Choir Sisters of the Order of Preachers, that I will be obedient to you and to my other Prioresses until death.
Prayer of Consecration (by the Archbishop):
God of goodness, by your Word you visit the earth and perform marvels in the heart of the poor.
You visited it in the days of Abraham and Sarah, and you gave birth to a people as numerous as the stars of heaven.
You visited your people in the day of Moses, and you caused it to leave Egypt in order to give it a land flowing with milk and honey.
You spoke ceaselessly by the prophets.
In these, the last days, you sent John the Precursor and in your mercy, you leaned over Mary, your humble servant. When the Holy Spirit had covered her with his shadow, she gave to the world the Saviour, the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ.
Come in order to manifest to us your Love, He passed over our earth doing good.
Full of the Holy Spirit, He brought the Good News to the poor, deliverance to captives, and light to the blind.
At the hour of his Passion, He stretched out his hands on the Cross, so that death should be ended and the Resurrection manifested. In this mystery of his Pasch he gave life to men and gave birth to the Church in the force of the Spirit.
By the same Spirit, You do not cease to call a great number of men and women to follow Christ by witnessing to his unique Love.
Gathered together in his Name by the living Word, the Choir Sisters of the Order of Preachers endeavour to announce the Good News of this Love by the whole of their life. So they participate with their brethren in the service of the Word.
