The National Costume


The costume above is the most widely accepted National Costume of Iceland. For ladies, that is. But there are several others that each have their own distinctive characteristics, and their own nice in Icelandic traditions.

The males have fared less well in the National Costume department, but there are a couple of costumes on view in the Men's Department.
