Variations on a Theme - The Original

This beautiful photograph, by Ed Jackson of Canada, from Djúpivogur in Iceland shows the incredibly rich hues of blue that the Icelandic sky, mountains and the Atlantic Ocean produce.

These colours, and their interplay, have been floating before my eyes since I first saw this photograph on Eds Photographs from Iceland. Finally I could not resist the challenge any longer and started to play with the colours in various image manipulation programs. The results, or at least some of them, are shown on the 12 pages that follow this one.

If you have half as much fun viewing these images, as I have had creating them, you will have an enjoyable time.
