Collecting food recipes and cookbooks is a passion for me. I read
those instead of romans and novels and it is just unbelievable how much one can "eat" that way and not
to forget without getting too fat...
This addiction is absolutely a very healthy one, and it is also so very practical to "eat" this way,
you don't have to tidy up your kitchen or do the dishes afterwards !
The links are in all the languages I can understand well enough to read a food recipe :-))

The website Tradisjoner.no is
made by the Icelander Magnus Thor Magnusson. The purpose of the site is to publish some of the cultural
heritage that old northern traditional food recipes may include. This page includes recipes from Iceland,
Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Faroe Islands.
A first-rate website for food lovers - and in five languages !

I am often asked for some traditional Icelandic food-recipes. Kristin Olafson-Jenkyns has written a marvelous
award winning book on the subject: The Culinary Saga of
New Iceland.
There are over 200 interesting recipes in this book plus a lot of information on traditional
Icelandic food. I have the authors permission to publish few of these tasty recipes here
: - just to wet your tongue :-))
