Born 1935 in Teplitz, Czech Republic, brought up in Germany.

Educated as commercial designer in Frankfurt/Main.

Settled in Iceland 1961.

Studied at the Icelandic College of Art and Crafts, graduated from the Department of

Educating Art Teachers in 1977 and 1979 graduatet from the Department of Graphic Arts

Instructor in printmaking at the same college 1986 - 2001

Residency at the Studio Cité des Arts, Paris 1989

Residency at the Nordic Art Center in Sveaborg, Finland 1994

Guest artist at the Kyoto-Seika-Academy of Art, Japan 1995

Curator of the 3rd Nordic Triennial of Prints in Iceland in co-operation with the Nordic House in

Reykjavik 1998.

Participatet at Fine Art Course at International Summeracademy Salzburg, Austria in 2000,

2004 and 2006.

European MA Fine Art Printmaking Course, Winchester School of Art in Barcelona 2001-2002.

Residency at Fundascion Valparaiso in Mojácar, Spain 2005.
